April 4, 2003 was a hot, lazy Friday Spring afternoon at the American University of Beirut. Girls were hanging out lazily, feeling bored, looking around longingly... Some of the more courageous ones lifted the bras up to squeese the cleavege, some unbuttoned an extra button... You could cut the sensual tension in the air with a knife... I gathered the courage to photograph one of the most distinctive features of Middle Eastern women: Their to-die-for hips...
