After a month of travel in a mental Hades, I experienced a resurrection... I started seeing signs of beauty around me... I photographed this beautiful emerald piece of the Mediterranean outside the American University of Beirut. I had just turned down a job offer at a printing press because I was honest to myself and the interviewers that if the job was not in photography I would not enjoy it to the full, I would not give it my full potential. It was a rainy day, and on such weather conditions nature reveals a deeper beauty you cannot see on a sunny day... I realized with time though that the Lebanee had not reached an awareness and appreciation of photography as a fine art yet... So I got a job as a chemistry teacher at Balamand University.
